We are delighted to announce the launch of our Jisc Digital experience insights survey 2018: findings from students in UK further and higher education. The report shares the findings from our 2018 student digital experience insights survey (previously known as tracker) on students expectations and experiences of technology.<\/p>\n
The data presented in this report was collected during\u00a0the final phase of a three-year project to understand students\u2019 expectations and experiences of technology. The pilot took place between October 2017 and April 2018\u00a0and collected data from\u00a0a total of 37,720 students (14,292 further education (FE) students and 23,428 higher education (HE) students) studying at 83 different colleges, sixth form colleges or universities across the four nations of the United Kingdom (UK). Participating organisations included 36 FE colleges and 43 universities \u2013 approximately 16% of UK colleges and 30% of UK universities.<\/p>\n
The report includes a detailed analysis of the data and syntheses of key themes which support an effective student digital experience. We would also like to introduce you to Frankie and Harley: two illustrative student personas that we have created to reflect the digital experiences of students studying in further and higher education in 2018.<\/p>\n
