There shouldn\u2019t be friction moving from one experience to another,\u201d Sean White, Senior Vice President, Emerging Technologies said\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/blog.mozilla.org\/blog\/2018\/04\/03\/mozilla-brings-firefox-augmented-virtual-reality\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">in a blog post announcing the browser<\/a>. \u201cFirefox was the first browser to implement WebVR \u2013 an open standard for sharing and enjoying virtual reality content through a web URL. This lays the groundwork for creating and delivering immersive experiences using a method that is as simple as opening a web page.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Called Firefox Reality, the browser was created from the ground up to be used with stand-alone virtual reality and augmented reality headsets.
