{"id":7449,"date":"2018-03-09T16:46:52","date_gmt":"2018-03-09T16:46:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/microsites.bournemouth.ac.uk\/cel\/?p=7449"},"modified":"2018-03-12T08:35:48","modified_gmt":"2018-03-12T08:35:48","slug":"leap-workshops-on-9-march-2018","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/microsites.bournemouth.ac.uk\/flie\/2018\/03\/09\/leap-workshops-on-9-march-2018\/","title":{"rendered":"LEAP workshops on 9 March 2018"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We held two LEAP sessions in BU today that were primarily attended by staff from Media Production and Sports and Physical Activity but included staff from FoM too.<\/p>\n<p>It was the first time that we had the opportunity to work with staff from the same level of a programme.\u00a0 It was excellent to see the units of the programme visualised using the LEAP process and to hear the discussions about how the units fit together, complement and build on each other.\u00a0 The LEAP process proved to be a very good basis on which to discuss the structure, content and assessment of the unit.<\/p>\n<p>The feedback from today&#8217;s sessions included the following comments.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent process, really useful.\u00a0 The space is ideal.\u00a0 Will the assessment bank go online like a directory? <span style=\"color: #999999\">[The answer to this question is yes.\u00a0 We are planning an Assessment and Feedback Toolkit which will operate in a similar way to the TEL Toolkit].<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Very good.\u00a0 Great delivery from both.\u00a0 Quick through each task which maintained interest.\u00a0 Thank you for giving up your time.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent way of visualising what the unit is good\/bad at.\u00a0 will use again,<\/li>\n<li>BRILLIANT SESSION.\u00a0 Made me really reflect how I assess (thinking outside the box).<\/li>\n<li>Great exercises.\u00a0 Great materials and visualisations.\u00a0 Maybe ask participants to bring unit guides along to session <span style=\"color: #999999\">[We will make sure we do this in future.\u00a0 Thank you]<\/span>.<\/li>\n<li>Superb!<\/li>\n<li>Good way to visualise the whole unit and see repetition and variation -&gt;
