Are you someone that can bring about positive change?<\/p>\n<p>Term: 1 August 2018 to 31 July 2021.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Experience and skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provides Strategic Leadership (all Trustees) and has deep knowledge and understanding of the HE sector and the AUA\u2019s place within it<\/li>\n<li>Is able to articulate strategic priorities, financial implications and objectives clearly<\/li>\n<li>Promotes team working between Trustees and AUA Office staff<\/li>\n<li>Is able to analyse information provided by the AUA Office in a useful way<\/li>\n<li>Is open to new ideas and willing to work in partnership with stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>Ensures accountability by understanding the legal governance and financial requirements the AUA operates in<\/li>\n<li>Acts as a critical friend<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>How to apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Click on the\u00a0<strong>Apply now<\/strong>\u00a0button and comple the form by<strong>\u00a05 March 2018.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you have any questions please contact\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:k.m.fowler@abdn.ac.uk\">Kathryn Fowler<\/a>, the current Chair of the Board.<\/p>\n<p>Applications will be considered by a Nominations Panel established by the Board who will interview selected candidates during the Annual Conference at the University of Manchester, 26 to 27 March. The Nominations Panel will make recommendations to the Board of Trustees at their meeting in June for formal endorsement.\u00a0Applicants will be informed of the result by Kathryn Fowler after the interviews, subject to formal endorsement by the Board.
