Congratulations to the four new BU Learning and Teaching Fellows who start their role this month. Camila Devis-Rozental (FMC), Nicole Ferdinand (FM), Karen Thompson (FM) and Steve Trenoweth (FHSS) will each be embarking on funded projects around education.<\/p>\n
The aims of the BU Learning and Teaching Fellowship Award are to:
\n\u2022 Recognise and celebrate excellent achievement and\/or innovation in the support of student learning through fusion;
\n\u2022 Improve the quality of the student learning experience through the dissemination of good practice;
\n\u2022 Promote a culture of scholarship and reflective practice;
\n\u2022 Increase the number of publishable outcomes from pedagogic activity and research;
\n\u2022 Increase the number of National Teaching Fellows at BU.<\/p>\n
L&T Fellows are funded in their first year to develop projects or innovative education practice that will have a positive impact on student learning. These will be disseminated across BU through, for example, CELebrate and other internal events and externally through a conference paper or academic journal article, running a workshop or seminar, or collaboration with other universities.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
