Of particular value was the excellent and entertaining keynote speech by Nick Hillman (Director of the Higher Education Policy Institute).<\/p>\n<p>From a personal perspective, I have to say that it was the best, and most useful, conference that I have attended in a long-time.\u00a0Lots of interest regarding my own personal research into the &#8216;evaluation of student learning gain&#8217;, and if the success of a poster is based upon the number of photos being taken, then\u00a0the poster we presented\u00a0surpassed\u00a0all expectations!<\/p>\n<p>Anyone interested in finding out more about this year&#8217;s presentation can access some of the materials <a href=\"https:\/\/www.heacademy.ac.uk\/training-events\/events\/surveys-conference-2018#section-1\">here<\/a>.\u00a0 This link also provides advanced details of next year&#8217;s HEA Surveys Conference to give you time to put it into your diaries and plan ahead.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This year&#8217;s HEA Surveys Conference was a great success with academics and professional support staff from a wide range of UK universities mixing to discuss experiences and to share top tips.
