Available for all BU staff, take a series of one or half day workshops (spread out over the semester) to extend your own CPD\/ build your promotion profile\/ move towards application for Senior Fellowship of the HEA<\/p>\n
Attend as CPD only, or attend for an additional day, and upon successful completion of coursework be awarded 20 credits at Masters level<\/p>\n
CEL is offering three short courses\/ accredited units for any staff who may wish to develop their skills and understanding in three areas important to the success of BU2018:<\/p>\n
Technology enhanced learning: creativity in design <\/strong><\/p>\n Course leader: David Biggins, Academic Learning designer<\/p>\n Dates: Half days March 1st<\/sup>, 16th<\/sup>, 23rd<\/sup>, May 5th<\/sup> 2017; plus 4 half days online learning about the benefits and best practices of TEL<\/p>\n Employability\/ work based learning for higher education: implementing best practice<\/strong><\/p>\n Course leader: Carly Lamont, CEL theme leader\/ FoM<\/p>\n Dates: March 8th<\/sup>, 14th<\/sup>, 15th<\/sup>, 22nd<\/sup> 2017<\/p>\n Innovations in assessment and feedback<\/strong><\/p>\n Course leader: Anne Quinney, CEL theme leader\/ HSS<\/p>\n Dates: March 29th<\/sup>, April 5th<\/sup>, May 3rd<\/sup>, May 10th<\/sup> 2017<\/p>\n The detail:<\/strong><\/p>\n You are welcome to attend the course only or attend, do the coursework and submit the assessment for credits towards the MA Educational Practice which will be validated and available from September 2017.
