{"id":4343,"date":"2016-11-17T06:50:26","date_gmt":"2016-11-17T06:50:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/microsites.bournemouth.ac.uk\/cel\/?p=4343"},"modified":"2016-11-17T06:59:43","modified_gmt":"2016-11-17T06:59:43","slug":"faculty-completion-of-the-digital-skill-self-assessment-questionnaire","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/microsites.bournemouth.ac.uk\/flie\/2016\/11\/17\/faculty-completion-of-the-digital-skill-self-assessment-questionnaire\/","title":{"rendered":"Faculty completion of the digital skills self-assessment questionnaire"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We have been running this questionnaire since the launch of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www1.bournemouth.ac.uk\/about\/centre-excellence-learning\/tel-toolkit\">TEL Toolkit<\/a> in February.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to asking academic staff to complete the questionnaire in CEL workshops, on the TEL Toolkit and here in the CEL blog, we have been supported in ESEC and the DDEs as we strive for the highest possible completion rate.\u00a0 Our aspiration is that academic staff complete the questionnaire at least once per year.\u00a0 This is so that individuals can gain a better understanding of their digital skills and identify developmental opportunities and also that the organisation can gear itself up to better support and develop staff.\u00a0 The end goal of both of these objectives is an improved student experience.<\/p>\n<p>The questionnaire is already helping to shape how CEL supports staff.\u00a0 Click here for the <a href=\"https:\/\/microsites.bournemouth.ac.uk\/flie\/2016\/10\/12\/further-analysis-of-the-digital-skills-data\/\">most recent analysis of the data<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>We are progressing towards our completion target.\u00a0 Here are the completion rates for each faculty.<\/p>\n<p>FoM &#8230;&#8230;.. 54%<br \/>\nHSS &#8230;&#8230;.. 46%<br \/>\nSciTech &#8230; 43%<br \/>\nFMC &#8230;&#8230;.. 17%<\/p>\n<p>If you have not yet completed the questionnaire, <a href=\"https:\/\/bournemouth.onlinesurveys.ac.uk\/digital-skills\">please click on this link<\/a>.\u00a0 The questionnaire is anonymous and takes no more than 15 minutes.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We have been running this questionnaire since the launch of the TEL Toolkit in February.
