Some of you are familiar with the\u00a0Royal Literary Fund (RLF) Fellowship scheme<\/a>\u00a0that has placed more than 300 professional writers in 120 UK higher education institutions since 1999, providing one-to-one tutorials for students.<\/p>\n You may also know about the\u00a0RLF Consultant Fellowship scheme<\/a>\u00a0that has some 36 Consultant Fellows (CFs) leading writing workshops and other activities across 29 universities in the UK and abroad.<\/p>\n To strengthen its writing development work across the sector,\u00a0the RLF has launched two blogs\u00a0aimed at students and staff.\u00a0In\u00a0Top Tips<\/a>,\u00a0working writers running workshops in universities offer insights into how to write powerfully and productively,\u00a0whilst\u00a0What\u2019s Happening?<\/a>\u00a0features reflections from professional writers about the relationship between their creative work and their writing development workshops.<\/p>\n Together, the two blogs provide\u00a0valuable advice about the writing process together with techniques to help invigorate\u00a0academic writing practices.
