{"id":4205,"date":"2016-10-22T21:15:18","date_gmt":"2016-10-22T21:15:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/microsites.bournemouth.ac.uk\/cel\/?p=4205"},"modified":"2016-10-22T21:50:26","modified_gmt":"2016-10-22T21:50:26","slug":"new-blogs-aimed-at-staff-and-student-writers-from-the-royal-literary-fellowship-scheme","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/microsites.bournemouth.ac.uk\/flie\/2016\/10\/22\/new-blogs-aimed-at-staff-and-student-writers-from-the-royal-literary-fellowship-scheme\/","title":{"rendered":"New blogs aimed at staff and student writers from the Royal Literary Fellowship scheme"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Dear colleagues<\/p>\n<p>With apologies for any cross-posting.<\/p>\n<p>Some of you are familiar with the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.rlf.org.uk\/education\/rlf-fellowshipscheme\/\">Royal Literary Fund (RLF) Fellowship scheme<\/a>\u00a0that has placed more than 300 professional writers in 120 UK higher education institutions since 1999, providing one-to-one tutorials for students.<\/p>\n<p>You may also know about the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/rlfconsultants.com\/\">RLF Consultant Fellowship scheme<\/a>\u00a0that has some 36 Consultant Fellows (CFs) leading writing workshops and other activities across 29 universities in the UK and abroad.<\/p>\n<p>To strengthen its writing development work across the sector,\u00a0the RLF has launched two blogs\u00a0aimed at students and staff.\u00a0In\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/rlfconsultants.com\/category\/top-tips\/\">Top Tips<\/a>,\u00a0working writers running workshops in universities offer insights into how to write powerfully and productively,\u00a0whilst\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/rlfconsultants.com\/category\/whats-happening\/\">What\u2019s Happening?<\/a>\u00a0features reflections from professional writers about the relationship between their creative work and their writing development workshops.<\/p>\n<p>Together, the two blogs provide\u00a0valuable advice about the writing process together with techniques to help invigorate\u00a0academic writing practices.
