Note that unit content will <u>not <\/u>be automatically rolled over from 15\/16. The entire contents of a unit can be copied over in a few simple steps using the instructions below.\u00a0\u00a0 15\/16 unit content will stay in the system for the whole of 16\/17 to allow copying in a phased way, if required.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Countdown<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>From mid-August \u2013 Friday 16 September<\/strong>, Academics will be preparing their units for the start of term, including copying content where appropriate.<\/li>\n<li>Friday <strong>9 September\u00a0<\/strong>is the deadline to have initial content ready for <strong>continuation students<\/strong>, who will see content in their new units 14 days in advance of start of term (i.e. visible from 12 September\u00a0 2016).<\/li>\n<li>Friday <strong>16 September\u00a0<\/strong>is the deadline for initial content to be in place for <strong>new students<\/strong> in Induction Week (i.e. visible from 19 September 2016) .<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0Available Support<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The<strong> TEL Toolkit<\/strong> has\u00a0key information on changes to myBU and how to copy unit content:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/bournemouth.cloud.panopto.eu\/Panopto\/Pages\/Viewer.aspx?id=615431af-3632-4a6c-a6b5-4be29ab399de\">Overview of changes and improvements in myBU for 2016\/17<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www1.bournemouth.ac.uk\/about\/centre-excellence-learning\/tel-toolkit\/mybu-preparing-new-academic-year\">myBU preparation for 16\/17 including how to copy unit content<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>If help is required<\/strong>, please log any queries or requests via the <a href=\"http:\/\/bournemouth.service-now.com\/\"><strong>IT Service Desk<\/strong><\/a> (<a href=\"http:\/\/bournemouth.service-now.com\/\">http:\/\/bournemouth.service-now.com<\/a>\u00a0 or phone\u00a0 01202 9 65515) and a Learning Technologist will get in touch.\u00a0 Faculty Learning Technologists will also be running drop-in sessions on content copying in each Faculty.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Preparing myBU for the start of term myBU is now ready for academics to prepare their 16\/17 myBU units.
