A standard unit will be created in myBU with the following menu items:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Announcements\u00a0&#8211;\u00a0<\/strong>This is default landing page for the unit where <a title=\"myBU announcements\" href=\"https:\/\/www1.bournemouth.ac.uk\/about\/centre-excellence-learning\/tel-toolkit\/tools-support-tel\/mybu\/mybu-announcements\">announcements<\/a>\u00a0can be added. <a title=\"myBU announcements\" href=\"https:\/\/www1.bournemouth.ac.uk\/about\/centre-excellence-learning\/tel-toolkit\/tools-support-tel\/mybu\/mybu-announcements\">Announcements<\/a>\u00a0are used to\u00a0provide up to date information about the unit highlighting any changes, cancellations, important notices and information on assignment.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Unit Information &#8211;\u00a0<\/strong>This is a content area where the unit guide and teaching schedule can be uploaded.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Unit Materials &#8211;\u00a0<\/strong>This is content area where teaching materials and other resources can be added and uploaded e.g. lecture slides, handouts, web links, <a title=\"myBU learning modules\" href=\"https:\/\/www1.bournemouth.ac.uk\/about\/centre-excellence-learning\/tel-toolkit\/tools-support-tel\/mybu\/mybu-learning-modules\">learning modules<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Unit Video\u00a0<\/strong>(Unavailable by default) &#8211;\u00a0This area links to any <a title=\"Panopto\" href=\"https:\/\/www1.bournemouth.ac.uk\/about\/centre-excellence-learning\/tel-toolkit\/tools-support-tel\/fully-supported-tools\/panopto\">Panopto<\/a>\u00a0video content which is associated with the unit. E.g. recorded lectures, presentations, tutorials and uploaded videos.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Assessment &#8211;\u00a0<\/strong>This is a content area for information on the unit assessment activities which should include assignment briefs and marking criteria. This area is also used for <a title=\"Turnitin\" href=\"https:\/\/www1.bournemouth.ac.uk\/about\/centre-excellence-learning\/tel-toolkit\/tools-support-tel\/fully-supported-tools\/turnitin\">Turnitin<\/a>\u00a0assignment boxes, large file submission boxes, <a title=\"myBU test &amp; survey tool\" href=\"https:\/\/www1.bournemouth.ac.uk\/about\/centre-excellence-learning\/tel-toolkit\/tools-support-tel\/mybu\/mybu-test-survey-tool\">online tests<\/a>, assessed <a title=\"myBU personal journal &amp; blogs\" href=\"https:\/\/www1.bournemouth.ac.uk\/about\/centre-excellence-learning\/tel-toolkit\/tools-support-tel\/mybu\/mybu-personal-journal-blogs\">blogs<\/a>\/<a title=\"myBU Wiki\" href=\"https:\/\/www1.bournemouth.ac.uk\/about\/centre-excellence-learning\/tel-toolkit\/tools-support-tel\/mybu\/mybu-wiki\">wikis<\/a>\u00a0and <a title=\"uGrade\" href=\"https:\/\/www1.bournemouth.ac.uk\/about\/centre-excellence-learning\/tel-toolkit\/tools-support-tel\/fully-supported-tools\/ugrade\">self\/peer assessment<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Reading List\u00a0&#8211;\u00a0<\/strong>This automatically links to the <a title=\"Talis Aspire Reading Lists\" href=\"https:\/\/www1.bournemouth.ac.uk\/about\/centre-excellence-learning\/tel-toolkit\/tools-support-tel\/fully-supported-tools\/talis-aspire-reading-lists\">Talis Aspire reading List system<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Tools &#8211;\u00a0<\/strong>This links to tools that have been enabled for the unit.
