We\u2019ve put together a virtual special issue, guest edited by Paul Ashwin<\/strong> and Didi Griffioen,<\/strong> consisting of a selection of articles related to \u2018The scholarship of learning, teaching and organizing in higher education<\/a><\/strong>\u2019 which is the central theme of the Higher Education Conference 2016.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Articles include:<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n The use of learner-centred assessment practices in the United States: the influence of individual and institutional contexts<\/strong><\/a> <\/p>\n Socio-cultural adaptation, academic adaptation and satisfaction of international higher degree research students in Australia<\/strong><\/a> <\/p>\n Teacher\u2013parent partnership: an authentic teacher education model to improve student outcomes<\/strong><\/a> <\/p>\n We have included articles situated in a variety of national contexts and that focus on different types of higher education, including undergraduate\/postgraduate and vocational\/academic higher education.
