The Fair Access Research<\/a>\u00a0programme\u00a0is\u00a0pleased to announce the publication of our first Fair Access Briefing<\/a>!\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

In this first briefing you get to meet the team<\/a>\u00a0and we share with you some of the background to the project.<\/p>\n

We share a case study of a student co-creation project exploring perceptions of disability during the admissions process and find out about why research for widening participation matters to you!!<\/p>\n

We are facilitating a workshop <\/a>as part of the Festival of Learning<\/a>\u00a0exploring the challenges and opportunities for educational equity in the region.\u00a0Bournemouth, Poole and surrounding region face significant challenges when it comes to supporting those most in need to access and succeed in education. These challenges are being tackled by dedicated experts working hard to support disadvantaged learners to engage in a variety of education settings.\u00a0We are inviting\u00a0experts working in the field of education and equality to come together and share experiences and skills to find sustainable solutions to the region\u2019s major education challenges.\u00a0We want grassroots solutions to grassroots challenges facing the region. This approach will enable targeted and tailored responses that work with the unique challenges of education and social justice in a diverse rural and coastal region.
