It enables staff and the organisation to reflect back on their professional practice.\u00a0Additionally, one of the BU 2018 KPIs is that 100% of academic staff should have either a recognised teaching qualification and\/or a Higher Education Academy (HEA) Fellowship status.<\/p>\n<p>Throughout May \u2018Applying for HEA Fellowship\u2019 sessions have been taking place across BU to support colleagues to apply for fellowships, discover more about the application process, find out what support is available as well as providing an opportunity to ask any questions.<\/p>\n<p>Feedback from the sessions with Dr Richard Scullion &amp; Dr Karen Fowler-Watt (Faculty of Media &amp; Communication), and Dr Erika Borkoles &amp; Dr Lenia Marques (Faculty of Management) has been very positive with colleagues commenting that the sessions have clarified what was required of them and have motivated them to work on an application over the Summer ahead of the 31<sup>st<\/sup> August deadline. At the Faculty of Management session, there was an excellent turn out.<\/p>\n<p>Two sessions are yet to take place, the first with Professor Elizabeth Rosser &amp; Dr Sue Way (Faculty of Health &amp; Social Sciences) scheduled for\u00a0Wednesday 25<sup>th<\/sup> May, 15.30 at Lansdowne Campus and another with Professor Chris Shiel (Faculty of Science &amp; Technology) on Thursday 2<sup>nd<\/sup> June, 14.00 at Talbot Campus. Colleagues from all Faculties are welcome to attend these sessions \u2013 and we\u2019d encourage you to do so!
