In 2014, over 230 entries were submitted and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.publicengagement.ac.uk\/work-with-us\/competition\/competition-finalists\">finalists and winners<\/a> were celebrated\u00a0at the national Engage Competition 2014 awards ceremony , at the Natural History Museum.<\/p>\n<p>The categories for awards this year include<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>Health and Wellbeing<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>Engaging With Young People:\u00a0<\/strong>A really important audience to engage \u2013 we\u2019re looking forward to hearing from projects and researchers inspiring young people in a range of different ways.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>Working In Partnership:\u00a0<\/strong>If your project has been particularly collaborative in nature, this is the category for you. Examples could include: collaborations across different research disciplines; community based research; co-production; etc.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>Individually Led Projects:\u00a0<\/strong>From those just starting out, to those who have inspired new ways of thinking about and doing public engagement, this category celebrates projects led by individuals.
