{"id":3265,"date":"2016-05-09T10:09:17","date_gmt":"2016-05-09T10:09:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/microsites.bournemouth.ac.uk\/cel\/?p=3265"},"modified":"2016-05-09T10:09:17","modified_gmt":"2016-05-09T10:09:17","slug":"what-do-you-need-from-an-audience-response-system","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/microsites.bournemouth.ac.uk\/flie\/2016\/05\/09\/what-do-you-need-from-an-audience-response-system\/","title":{"rendered":"What do you need from an audience response system?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Audience Response Systems such as <a href=\"https:\/\/www1.bournemouth.ac.uk\/about\/centre-excellence-learning\/tel-toolkit\/tools-support-tel\/tools-support-collaboration-co-creation\/turningpoint\">TurningPoint<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www1.bournemouth.ac.uk\/about\/centre-excellence-learning\/tel-toolkit\/tools-support-tel\/tools-support-feedback-evaluation\/mentimeter\">Mentimeter<\/a> are being used across the University in the Faculties for teaching and learning and in Professional Services to capture electronic feedback.<\/p>\n<p>We are undertaking a review of audience response systems in the next 3 months to determine an appropriate solution for BU.<\/p>\n<p>In order to help us with this review, we are gathering requirements.\u00a0 We will use the list of requirements to assess the competing solutions.\u00a0 The requirements may cover the type of questions that can be asked, whether textual feedback is required and what features are required.<\/p>\n<p>We would very much appreciate your input to this exercise. It would be very helpful if you could give a priority for each requirement using the <i>MoSCoW<\/i> method (Must have, Should have, Could have, and Would like but won&#8217;t get).\u00a0 For example:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>\u00a0Capture short textual feedback of up to 200 characters.\u00a0 Should have.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Embed within a PowerPoint presentation.\u00a0 Could have.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Use students own device.\u00a0 Must have.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Please email your requirements to <a href=\"mailto:scallard@bournemouth.ac.uk\">Sue Callard<\/a> by Friday 13 May 16.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Audience Response Systems such as TurningPoint and Mentimeter are being used across the University in the Faculties for teaching and learning and in Professional Services to capture electronic feedback.
