The fund is available for academic and Professional Support staff (full or part time, providing you have an established BU contract of greater than 1 year) and can be used to support to receive training, to undertake teaching or to invite someone from another EU organisation to BU.\u00a0 It\u2019s a great scheme and we are pleased to have supported a large number of staff in the past to undertake travel to teach or train.<\/p>\n<p>As all travel must be within the EU (excluding the UK) and must be completed by 30.06.16. This round is the last where you will be guaranteed to have an outcome to enable travel ahead of this date &#8211; applications will be accepted until 9am 26.02.16.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Teaching: <\/strong>If you want to teach in the EU (many institutions are happy for you to teach in English), BU needs to have an Erasmus agreement with the institution and you can find this out on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www1.bournemouth.ac.uk\/discover\/global\/global-partnerships\">Global BU webpages<\/a>. You just need to undertake a minimum of 8 hours per week and you must be visiting the institution for between 2 days and 2 months.\u00a0 You can also invite one of BU\u2019s non-UK Erasmus partners to teach at BU with this funding.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Training: <\/strong>If you want to undertake training in the EU (this could be work-shadowing a workshop or a bespoke training plan to further develop your educational excellence), you can do so at an educational institution, at an enterprise or a range of other organisations \u2013 BU does not need to hold an existing agreement with the host institution.
