Did you know you can now allow participants to identify themselves in a Mentimeter presentation?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mentimeter is BU’s online polling tool which can add an interactive element to your lectures and presentations. By default, Mentimeter is completely anonymous and as such is helpful in getting an overview of your audience’s opinions or understanding on a topic. But now you have the option to require participant names are added via the Interactivity menu.<\/p>\n

Select the option under Interactivity<\/p><\/div>\n

Turning on ‘Participant names are required’ on your slide via the Interactivity menu means participants will be required to enter a name before they can access your Mentimeter presentation. Names will be displayed in selected places throughout the presentation and in the results page.<\/p>\n

Participants choose their own name on entering the presentation.\u00a0Names are unique to each session, so you cannot track results across sessions or different presentations.<\/p>\n

Asking participants to add their names might be useful if you are getting feedback from Groups in your teaching session. For example, each group assigns itself a name and a designated team member responds to the Mentimeter slides under the chosen team name.<\/p>\n
