Over 130 participants braved the rainy morning and afternoon to take part in this vital, life-saving training. These students played an integral role, ensuring attendees gained valuable resuscitation skills, preparing them to respond confidently in emergency situations.<\/p>\n<p>The Centre for Fusion Learning, Innovation and Excellence (FLIE) team enhanced the experience with immersive virtual reality (VR). Two MetaQuest 3 headsets were provided, allowing participants to step into a 360-degree VR video of a Code Blue scenario\u2014a situation where a patient requires immediate resuscitation or critical medical attention.<\/p>\n<p>The event exemplified Bournemouth University\u2019s vision of enriching society through the fusion of education, research, and practice.
