The updated JISC Learning Analytics platform went live on 9th September, redesigned with a more modern user interface and improved functionality and usability for attendance capture and monitoring.<\/p>\n

This academic year, staff must use Jisc to log student attendance at timetabled teaching sessions\u00a0<\/strong>(not including optional drop-in sessions) and core supervision sessions on project and dissertation units<\/strong>. This is essential to generate the data that is used in the Engagement Framework, both to support individual students and understand patterns of attendance at BU.<\/p>\n

As most teaching starts in earnest for the majority of faculties next Monday (30th), here’s a quick recap of the attendance capture steps, and the slide that you can download and use within your presentations to support students with checking in:<\/p>\n
