Standardised Coursework brief template and updated Assessment module<\/h2>\n
There is now a\u00a0 standardised single coursework brief template, to be used across all faculties, to improve the clarity of assessments for students. As part of this process, you\u2019ll notice ‘Assessment Help and Support’ information for students can now be found in a default module under the ‘Assessment’ module on all units. As this area now contains the key help and support information for students in relation to their assessment, the coursework brief now focuses on the particular requirements of each piece of coursework.<\/section>\n

Selecting the appropriate AI Level on your Coursework brief<\/h2>\n

The coursework brief template provides four AI statements that staff need to select\/delete as appropriate. These AI levels are there to support the integrity of the assessment and to provide clarity for students. To support you with choosing the appropriate level for your coursework, we’ve created a short online module<\/strong> which explains each statement in a bit more detail, with examples of when and why you might choose each level. We aim to continue adding to this module with coursework brief examples from BU colleagues, so do check back to the resource and reach out to your Faculty Learning Technologist<\/a> if you have any further questions about the adoption of the template.<\/p>\n
