Brightspace provides alerts for unit activity (such as announcements, assignment deadlines etc) via the bell icon <a href=\"https:\/\/microsites.bournemouth.ac.uk\/flie\/files\/2023\/09\/bellicon.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-15759 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/microsites.bournemouth.ac.uk\/flie\/files\/2023\/09\/bellicon.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"49\" height=\"51\" \/><\/a> at the top right of the screen. But if students would like to receive direct notifications of Brightspace activity, they can do this via the Pulse app.<\/p>\n<h2>What is the Pulse app?<\/h2>\n<p>Pulse is Brightspace&#8217;s mobile app,\u00a0 available for both iOS and Android devices. It can help students keep track of important updates all in one place.
