Welcome back to a new academic year! Students will have access to units for Semester 1\/2\/3 one week prior to the start of Semester 1, and for the majority of programmes that will be this week (w\/c 11th September).<\/strong><\/p>\n

Key changes<\/h2>\n

Here is a summary of some of the key changes you’ll find on Brightspace units this year, to support you with providing a consistent experience for students across their units:<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Further support and guidance<\/h2>\n

The Brightspace Staff Resources<\/a> area (under the Help<\/strong> tab anywhere on Brightspace) has all the guidance you need to support you with using Brightspace and other digital tools. We’ve pulled together some of the key activities for this time of the academic year, including how to copy content across units and how to copy across Panopto recordings, under our Unit Preparation guidance<\/a>.<\/p>\n

As well as our online guidance, your Faculty Learning Technologist will run a weekly drop-in session to answer any queries and questions you might have in relation to Brightspace and other digital tools. PLEASE NOTE we have temporarily moved our office space<\/strong> – you can now find us in the Branksome Room, just in front of the Allsebrook Lecture theatre and opposite Dorset House:<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
