The new curricular units for 2023\/24 will be available on Brightspace to staff from Thursday 6th July<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/header>\n

Moving to a new content layout with ‘Lessons’<\/h2>\n

For the coming academic year we are moving to the Lessons (v1) content layout<\/a> for all new units so this means that all 23\/24 curricular units will have this content layout applied. For a number of years the Lessons layout has been available on an ‘opt-in’ basis and as the functionality of this layout has been developed we’ve seen it’s use grow each year to around 44% of all units opting in for 2022\/23. Pilot studies with the Lessons layout returned positive feedback from both students and staff describing the layout as easier to navigate and easier to prepare content. So moving forward, to provide a consistent and improved experience for students across their units this layout will be rolled out for new curricular units and the former ‘Standard’ layout will be retired.<\/p>\n

Support and guidance for your unit preparation<\/strong><\/h2>\n

We’ve put together some guidance to support you with preparing your units for the new academic year and with using the Lessons content experience:<\/p>\n
