This easy-to-use portfolio is a great tool for students to write reflections and evidence activities and experience. Mahara can be used for many different portfolio purposes, such as study, professional development, work-integrated learning, assessment, showcase and presentation, and employability.<\/p>\r\n<p>Mahara can be used with individual or group assessments. The ePortfolios are submitted via Mahara, and marks and feedback are recorded via Brightspace&#8217;s assignment tool. Portfolios can be shared flexibly with one person, a specified group, or be publicly accessible to all.<\/p>\r\n<p>One of the key benefits for students is that they retain access to Mahara even after they have graduated, so it&#8217;s a great tool to introduce as it can subsequently be used for ongoing professional development, such as hosting your online CV.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n<h2>Where can I find out more?<\/h2>\r\n<p>If you would like to find to out more about the Mahara tool, come to FG04 for our lunchtime drop-in on <strong>Wednesday 16th November<\/strong> between <strong>12:00 and 14:00<\/strong>.
