Did you know that Brightspace has links off to \u2018Help\u2019 resources from any page on Brightspace?<\/h2>\n

Clicking on Help in the navbar reveals a drop-down menu:\"Brightspace<\/a><\/p>\n

Brightspace help<\/strong> is for students but is available to everyone<\/p>\n

Brightspace Staff Resources<\/strong> is only available to staff<\/p>\n

Brightspace Help<\/h3>\n

With the start of the new academic year fast approaching, it is probably worth remembering that students do not currently get a dedicated Brightspace induction. Because of this, it would be good practice at some point early on in the course to give the students a brief guide to Brightspace and their units. This should include signposting to the \u2018Brightspace Help\u2019 resources where students can find guidance on a wide selection of interactions, such as navigating Brightspace and submitting assignments, Turnitin, Zoom, Teams etc. and, importantly, how to access the IT Service Desk should they experience any technical issues.<\/p>\n\"Brightspace<\/a>\n

These resources are restricted to staff only and can be accessed either via the \u2018Guidance by Theme\u2019 option, which offers the tools suitable to the objective that you are wanting to achieve, or via the \u2018Guidance by Tool\u2019 option, which provides an alphabetical list of the available tools.<\/p>\n
