I (Anne Quinney, Principal Lecturer in FLIE and the Assessment & Feedback academic lead) will be leaving BU at the end of this academic year and with annual leave due to me will be finishing on 20th<\/sup> July.<\/p>\n

I\u2019ve worked in FLIE, and its predecessor CEL (Centre for Excellence in Learning), for 9 years, having joined the university in January 2000 where I was based in the Faculty of Health and Social Sciences, where at one time I taught students from all programmes as part of the faculty-wide\u00a0 interprofessional curriculum.<\/p>\n

I’ve enjoyed working with many academic and professional services colleagues in the university and beyond during my time in CEL and FLIE; delivering Masterclasses with Prof Dai Hounsell; leading working groups to review and rewrite assessment policies; delivering workshops on assessment & feedback themes; teaching on\u00a0 the PGCert programme; teaching on the past PGDip and Masters in Education Practice programmes; delivering conference workshops and presentations; and providing individual help to solve assessment dilemmas.<\/p>\n

If there are any \u2018quick-fixes\u2019 that I can help colleagues, teams, departments with before I finish on 20th July do get in touch and we can have a chat about what might be possible. I\u2019ll be at the FLIE Colloquium on Talbot Campus on 30th<\/sup> June so do come and talk to me there.<\/p>\n

There is much that I am very proud of having achieved and I\u2019ll be leaving behind a \u2018legacy\u2019 of resources and policy development that I hope will continue to be useful for staff and of benefit to students. Here are some of them:<\/p>\n
