{"id":10903,"date":"2020-03-05T10:14:28","date_gmt":"2020-03-05T10:14:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/microsites.bournemouth.ac.uk\/flie\/?p=10903"},"modified":"2020-03-05T10:14:28","modified_gmt":"2020-03-05T10:14:28","slug":"are-you-looking-for-ideas-or-advice-for-planning-assessments","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/microsites.bournemouth.ac.uk\/flie\/2020\/03\/05\/are-you-looking-for-ideas-or-advice-for-planning-assessments\/","title":{"rendered":"Are you looking for ideas or advice for planning assessments?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Some new resources have been added to the Assessment &amp; Feedback Toolkit<\/p>\n<p>that you may find helpful when planning assessments for the next academic year.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The University of Leeds has published a <strong>compendium of assessment types<\/strong> which includes student perspectives.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/teachingexcellence.leeds.ac.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/89\/2018\/10\/PUGHcompendiumcomplete.pdf\">https:\/\/teachingexcellence.leeds.ac.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/89\/2018\/10\/PUGHcompendiumcomplete.pdf<\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>JISC has recently published a report on <strong>the future of assessment<\/strong> \u2013 setting out five principles and 5 targets for 2025.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/repository.jisc.ac.uk\/7733\/1\/the-future-of-assessment-report.pdf\">http:\/\/repository.jisc.ac.uk\/7733\/1\/the-future-of-assessment-report.pdf<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The 5 principles are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Authentic assessment<\/li>\n<li>Accessible assessment<\/li>\n<li>Appropriately automated assessment<\/li>\n<li>Continuous assessment and<\/li>\n<li>Secure assessment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Do remember when you are planning assessments for Level 4, 5 and 7 for the academic year 2020-21 that they must align with the principles<\/p>\n<p>and parameters set out in ARPP Principles of Assessment Design Policy 6c.
