{"id":10900,"date":"2020-03-11T10:30:00","date_gmt":"2020-03-11T10:30:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/microsites.bournemouth.ac.uk\/flie\/?p=10900"},"modified":"2020-05-11T16:52:21","modified_gmt":"2020-05-11T16:52:21","slug":"are-you-looking-for-ideas-or-advice-for-planning-assessments-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/microsites.bournemouth.ac.uk\/flie\/2020\/03\/11\/are-you-looking-for-ideas-or-advice-for-planning-assessments-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Are you looking for ideas or advice for planning assessments?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Some new resources have been added to the Assessment &amp; Feedback Toolkit<br \/>\nthat you may find helpful when planning assessments for the next academic year.<\/p>\n<p>(1) The University of Leeds has published a compendium of assessment types which includes student perspectives.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/teachingexcellence.leeds.ac.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/89\/2018\/10\/PUGHcompendiumcomplete.pdf\">https:\/\/teachingexcellence.leeds.ac.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/89\/2018\/10\/PUGHcompendiumcomplete.pdf<\/a><\/p>\n<p>(2) JISC has recently published a report on the future of assessment \u2013 setting out five principles and 5 targets for 2025.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/repository.jisc.ac.uk\/7733\/1\/the-future-of-assessment-report.pdf\">http:\/\/repository.jisc.ac.uk\/7733\/1\/the-future-of-assessment-report.pdf<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The 5 principles are:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Authentic assessment<br \/>\n\u2022 Accessible assessment<br \/>\n\u2022 Appropriately automated assessment<br \/>\n\u2022 Continuous assessment and<br \/>\n\u2022 Secure assessment<\/p>\n<p>Do remember when you are planning assessments for Level 4, 5 and 7 for the academic year 2020-21 that they must align with the principles and parameters set out in ARPP Principles of Assessment Design Policy 6c.
