Before teaching animation and visual effects at BU, Sofronis enjoyed great success in the film and game industries. He trained effects artists in Australia and the UK on projects such as 300, Happy Feet, WTC, CNET and Fable 2.
Sofronis has previously been Director of the BFX Festival, working with studios and partners across the world to host a major visual effects event in Bournemouth which brings together academia and top industry professionals.
