Prior to his academic career, Trevor was a television cameraman, director, producer and executive producer working for ITV, BBC and Channel 4 from 1980 to 2000. He has worked on a wide range of factual, entertainment and drama programmes from Harry Secombe’s Highway to ITV’s true-crime drama series Crimestory.

Trevor has spoken on producing television drama and making documentaries at many conferences and symposia. He has provided expert commentary for both local and national press.
