Osman is a sports physiotherapist with an extensive record of working in disability sport. He has worked as part of Team GB at the 2008 and 2016 Paralympic Games, and still works with the elite disability football squads at the Football Association.

His research background is focused on concussion in sport, and the role that multimedia technologies (primarily social media and smartphones) can play in healthcare.

Osman is a senior associate editor at the British Journal of Sports Medicine, and the Head of Medical for the International Federation of Cerebral Palsy Football.

His media experience includes being a studio guest on Channel 4 talking about Cerebral Palsy football and speaking on local radio about the Paralympic Games.
