Michelle has worked on several projects to improve the lives of older people and people affected by dementia as part of the Ageing and Dementia Research Centre (ADRC).
Her area of interest lies mainly in the study of later life and she is a member of the British Society of Gerontology. She has also worked with other vulnerable groups including children and young people.
Michelle has experience representing dementia issues in the local press.
