Marketing, advertising students commended for excellent work on CIM qualification

In the second year of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) Graduate Gateway programme at Bournemouth University, all 84 first students on the BA (Hons) Marketing Communications, BA (Hons) Advertising and BSc (Hons) Marketing successfully completed the first module on the level 3 Foundation Certificate in Marketing.

Students achieved a 100% pass rate on the Marketing Principles module, ahead of the UK national average. The University has received a letter of commendation from the CIM for the excellent performance of students on the module:

“The Awarding Body at The Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) has commended Bournemouth University Graduate Gateway for the excellent standard of results achieved for assessments submitted in the December 2014 assessments session for the Marketing Principles module of the Foundation Certificate in Marketing.”

This is the second commendation that Bournemouth University students on the Graduate Gateway programme have received from the CIM following recognition of excellent performance last year on the Introductory Certificate in Marketing.
