Wednesday afternoon, CMC will welcome an outstanding list of speakers to address the future of the communications industry.
The event is part of the CMC masterclass series and has been locally organised by CMC’s Amber Burton, undergraduate framework leader and programme leader for the MA in advertising.
‘FutureRising’ features the top brass from AKQA as well as speakers representing 1000 Monkeys, the Advertising Association and Brandpie. In addition to the presenters giving a short talk each, students will have the opportunity to respond to a live brief by giving a a 90-second pitch for which they’ll receive instant feedback.
So, students interested in what is making digital tick; looking at the future of advertising; or hearing about the role of the brand and creative should make sure to be there. The event is primarily aimed at advertising and marketing communications students and staff, but will offer career advice, tips for landing a job and other useful employability tips for everyone in the communications industry.
