27 January 2020 \u2013 12:00 – 14:00 – room FG06 (Fusion Building)<\/h3>\n

The centrally set standardised assessment, the Solicitors Qualifying Assessment \u2018SQE\u2019 is due to replace the Legal Practice Course \u2018LPC\u2019 and to commence in 2021.\u00a0 The Training Contract will be replaced by the Qualifying Work Experience \u2018QWE\u2019.\u00a0 This event is an opportunity for solicitors\u2019 firms to understand and discuss the challenges posed by these changes and identify what is required to ensure a smooth transition for both firms and training solicitors.<\/p>\n

Richard Williams, Policy Associate, Education and Training at the SRA will visit Bournemouth University on the 27 January 2020 and will give a presentation on the forthcoming SQE and QWE.<\/strong><\/p>\n\"\"<\/a>\n
