{"id":6184,"date":"2019-10-07T07:31:06","date_gmt":"2019-10-07T07:31:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/microsites.bournemouth.ac.uk\/cippm\/?p=6184"},"modified":"2019-10-16T07:01:56","modified_gmt":"2019-10-16T07:01:56","slug":"benjamin-white","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/microsites.bournemouth.ac.uk\/cippm\/2019\/10\/07\/benjamin-white\/","title":{"rendered":"Benjamin White"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>PhD Researcher<\/h3>\n<p>Benjamin White is a PhD student under the supervision of <a href=\"http:\/\/microsites.bournemouth.ac.uk\/cippm\/2014\/02\/19\/maurizio-borghi\/\">Professor Maurizio Borghi,<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/microsites.bournemouth.ac.uk\/cippm\/2014\/04\/23\/dinusha-mendis\/\">Professor Dinusha Mendis<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/microsites.bournemouth.ac.uk\/cippm\/2016\/09\/23\/marc-mimler\/\">Dr Marc Mimler<\/a>. Benjamin\u2018s research involves a study of intellectual property and data protection law in regards to the future of AI within the European Digital Single Market.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to joining Bournemouth University he was Head of Intellectual Property at the British Library. He also participated in a 2 year European Commission funded project called <a href=\"https:\/\/project.futuretdm.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Future TDM<\/a>, looking at the barriers to further uptake in Europe of data analytics and AI technologies.
