{"id":5422,"date":"2017-07-28T08:03:51","date_gmt":"2017-07-28T08:03:51","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/microsites.bournemouth.ac.uk\/cippm\/?p=5422"},"modified":"2025-01-02T15:00:35","modified_gmt":"2025-01-02T15:00:35","slug":"cippm-researchers-at-copy-ethics-conference-2017","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/microsites.bournemouth.ac.uk\/cippm\/2017\/07\/28\/cippm-researchers-at-copy-ethics-conference-2017\/","title":{"rendered":"CIPPM Researchers at Copy Ethics Conference 2017"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span class=\"\" lang=\"EN-AU\">CIPPM Researcher <a href=\"https:\/\/microsites.bournemouth.ac.uk\/cippm\/2016\/10\/07\/claudy-op-den-kamp\/\">Dr. Claudy Op den Kamp<\/a> and CIPPM Visiting Fellow, <a href=\"https:\/\/microsites.bournemouth.ac.uk\/cippm\/2014\/05\/13\/bartolomeo-meletti-2\/\">Mr. Bartolomeo Meletti<\/a> were invited to speak at the International <a class=\"\" href=\"http:\/\/www.uni-bielefeld.de\/%28en%29\/ZIF\/FG\/2015Copying\/Events\/07-11-Schmuecker_Programm.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Copy Ethics<\/a> conference, which was held from 11-14 July 2017 at the <a class=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.uni-bielefeld.de\/%28en%29\/ZIF\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Center for Interdisciplinary Research<\/a> at the University of Bielefeld. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"\" lang=\"EN-AU\">The conference was the closing event of a multi-year research project on the <a class=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomsbury.com\/uk\/the-aesthetics-and-ethics-of-copying-9781474254519\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Aesthetics and Ethics of Copying<\/a>. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"\" lang=\"EN-AU\">Aside from responding to one of the research papers, Claudy curated and introduced several found footage programmes, courtesy of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eyefilm.nl\/en\">EYE Filmmuseum, Amsterdam<\/a>. Bartolomeo introduced and presented his work on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.copyrightuser.org\/\">www.copyrightuser.org<\/a> and the award-winning web series &#8216;The Game is On!&#8217;.
