The expected starting date is <strong>September 2017<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Applicants are expected to have a solid background in law, and to submit an original and thought-provoking research proposal on one of the proposed research themes. The studentship consist of a maintenance grant of \u00a314,000 per annum and PhD fees waived for 36 months. In addition, research costs, including field work and conference attendance, will be met.<\/p>\n<p>The funded studentships are open to both UK\/EU and International students.
