{"id":4699,"date":"2016-06-28T15:52:53","date_gmt":"2016-06-28T15:52:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/microsites.bournemouth.ac.uk\/cippm\/?page_id=4699"},"modified":"2025-01-06T14:34:03","modified_gmt":"2025-01-06T14:34:03","slug":"pan-european-seal","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/microsites.bournemouth.ac.uk\/cippm\/courses\/pan-european-seal\/","title":{"rendered":"Pan-European Seal"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>Professional Traineeship Programme<\/h3>\n<p>CIPPM is member of the <a href=\"https:\/\/euipo.europa.eu\/knowledge\/course\/view.php?id=1851\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Pan-European Seal Professional Traineeship Programme<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The Pan-European Seal is promoted in partnership by two of the world\u2019s largest IP offices, the European Union Intellectual Property Office (<a href=\"https:\/\/euipo.europa.eu\/ohimportal\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">EUIPO<\/a>) and the European Patent Office (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.epo.org\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">EPO<\/a>) together with a number of\u00a0University partners.<\/p>\n<p>Under this Pan-European Seal, students\u00a0of the <a href=\"http:\/\/microsites.bournemouth.ac.uk\/cippm\/courses\/llm\/\">LLM Intellectual Property<\/a> \u00a0programme\u00a0of Bournemouth University\u00a0may apply for\u00a0a 12-months\u00a0<strong>paid traineeships<\/strong>\u00a0at the\u00a0EUIPO or\u00a0the EPO. Training will take place at the headquarters of EUIPO (Alicante, Spain) and EPO (Munich, Germany) with a monthly allowance and other benefits.<\/p>\n<h3>How to apply<\/h3>\n<p>Students enrolled in the LLM Intellectual Property of Bournemouth University can express their interest to the Course director by the\u00a0<strong>end of May<\/strong> of each academic year. Shortlisted candidates (up to five per Office) will be invited to submit their application\u00a0at either EUIPO or EPO.\u00a0From 1 to 30 June, shortlisted candidates may submit their application through the e-recruitment tool available:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>for the EUIPO on the <a href=\"https:\/\/euipo.europa.eu\/knowledge\/mod\/page\/view.php?id=126009\">Pan-European Seal section of the EUIPO Traineeships Website<\/a><\/li>\n<li>for the EPO on <a href=\"https:\/\/jobs.epo.org\/content\/PanEuropeanSeal\/?locale=en_GB\">Pan-European Seal \u2013 EPO Internships<\/a> Website.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Offices will evaluate the shortlist for access to the Pan-European Seal Programme. Successful applicants \u00a0will be offered a traineeship agreement with either EUIPO or\u00a0EPO for a duration of 12 months starting in October each year.<\/p>\n<h3>Online training courses<\/h3>\n<p>Applicants to the Pan-European Seal are requested to attend an online training course (of about 4 hours) :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>For EUIPO: register through the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/euipo.europa.eu\/knowledge\/\">EUIPO Academy Learning Portal<\/a>, as a member of the Pan-European Seal (by selecting &#8220;Bournemouth University&#8221; in the registration\u2019s drop-down menu).\u00a0Candidates must complete at least one of these courses:\u00a0\u201cEUTM in a Nutshell\u201d\u00a0<u>or<\/u>\u00a0\u201cRCD in a Nutshell\u201d.<\/li>\n<li>For EPO:\u00a0register through the\u00a0 EPO <a href=\"https:\/\/e-courses.epo.org\/\">E-Learning Centre of the European Patent Academy<\/a>.\u00a0Candidates must complete one of these courses:\u00a0Introduction to the European patent system (mandatory for all);\u00a0Using CPC (mandatory for since and engineers only);\u00a0The EPO as PCT authority (mandatory for lawyers and political sciences)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Professional Traineeship Programme CIPPM is member of the Pan-European Seal Professional Traineeship Programme.
