The Centre for Intellectual Property Policy & Management (CIPPM) is part of the Faculty of Media and Communication<\/a>\u00a0at Bournemouth University, UK. It was established in 2000 and has rapidly achieved an international reputation for its innovative policy research and its consultancy projects, in particular in the fields of creative industries and emerging technologies. Project funding has come from AHRC, Arts Council, Leverhulme Trust, ESRC, European Commission, European Patent Office, UK Intellectual Property Office and EU Intellectual Property Office (see\u00a0research<\/a>). In 2018 the Centre has established\u00a0 itself as a Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence<\/strong> for European Intellectual Property and Information Rights, co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union<\/a>.<\/p>\n The Centre has also developed significant industry links, offering tailored IP training to companies and public sector organisations. Past clients have included Gilette UK plc, Royal Sun Alliance, Jetro, Higher Education Academy, RAGnet, DELPHI Automotive plc, the research department of a Government defence agency, and one2one executive management training (see\u00a0consultancy<\/a>).<\/p>\n As part of its mission, the Centre supports postgraduate degree courses<\/a> in Intellectual Property and International Commercial Law accredited by the Chartered Institute of Patent Attorneys (CIPA) and the Chartered Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys (CITMA).
