A look into the National PAL/PASS Conference 2018

Back in November, a team representing BU attended the Annual National PASS/PAL Conference at the University of Manchester. The team consisted of myself, our PAL Intern Jess, Michael Knight from the faculty of HSS and three student PAL Leaders, all of whom made BU very proud with their contributions during the conference to sharing best practice around Peer Assisted Learning.

The conference saw institutions from around the UK as well as overseas come together to discuss Peer Assisted Learning in the context of ‘Empowering Leaders of the Future’. The conference consisted of a number of fantastic keynote speeches, interactive activities and the chance for our student Leaders to further their knowledge and skills.

The Mahara, put together by Jess, is now live. To find out more about the conference, including getting to know our PAL Leader representatives, find out their thoughts about the conference and what they took from the experience, please visit the link here: https://maharabu.bournemouth.ac.uk/view/view.php?id=97904
