Abstracts for the British Conference of Undergraduate Research – deadline 20th December

We are underway planning our own internal SURE programme, but please do encourage your students to think about this national call….

=============

Dear all

We are now accepting submissions for abstracts for the British Conference of Undergraduate Research, to be held at the University of South Wales, 15-16 April 2019.

BCUR is the largest conference in the UK dedicated exclusively to undergraduate research. BCUR welcomes submissions for presentations from all disciplines. You can find further information about BCUR19, including guidance on preparing an abstract at www.southwales.ac.uk/bcur19

Student abstracts should be no more than 250 words and should specify whether they are intending to deliver an oral presentation, a poster or use another presentation format. You can find further information about BCUR19 at https://www.southwales.ac.uk/bcur19/conference-programme

The deadline for submission of abstracts is 20th December 2018. Once abstract submissions have closed, all abstracts will be reviewed by a panel of reviewers. Applicants will either be accepted or given the opportunity to review their abstract for resubmission. All students asked to resubmit will be given specific feedback on areas for improvement. You will be contacted by email with the outcome of your submission.

Confirmation of those invited to participate in BCUR19 will be released in January 2019. Booking details will also be made available at this point, though conference rates are now available on www.southwales.ac.uk/bcur19.

Enquiries about BCUR19 should be directed to BCUR19@southwales.ac.uk

We look forward to hearing from your students.

Prof. Karen Fitzgibbon and Dr. Andrew Thompson (Chairs, BCUR19).
