BU’s first Senior Fellow of the HEA from the professional services

I am delighted to announce that Anne Davey, Faculty Librarian for the Faculty of Management has just been accredited as BU’s first Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA for short!) from the professional services via the TeachBU route.  Anne was commended for her outstanding application, that was interesting, reflective, well-constructed, met all the criteria and was “a joy to read”.

Very well done Anne!

In addition to her outstanding work teaching and supporting the learning of FM students with respect to information literacy, Anne coordinates Library and Learning Support’s excellent face-to-face and online Study Skills Workshop programme.

Anne has agreed to utilise her considerable skills to mentor others at BU in seeking HEA Fellowship and is particularly interested in supporting colleagues in professional roles.  You can find out more about the TeachBU route to HEA Fellowship and the different levels of fellowship (Associate, Fellow, Senior Fellow, Principal Fellow) on the staff intranet or get in touch with Anne for some personal reflections about her journey to success.
