All staff are invited to attend this one-hour interactive workshop facilitated by the CEL. It will provide a background to the concept of socio-emotional intelligence and an opportunity to discuss a variety of pedagogical approaches aimed at increasing the emotional capability of our students.
By the end of this workshop you will have:
- a basic understanding of the concept of socio-emotional intelligence
- be aware of its use in equipping students with the emotional resilience to successfully manage the many challenges of the world of work
- understand the ways in which socio-emotional intelligence can be developed
