Many apologies for cross posting but this may be of interest to some colleagues: Over the past few years the Faculty of Media and Communication has been working with Chulalongkorn University, Thailand’s top HEI. We are co-organising the Cross cultural Communication Conference to be hosted in Bangkok Jan 2017. It would be great if a number of academics from the faculty and the university could attend. Conference themes are
– Marketing communications across cultures;
– Communication challenges within global media contexts;
– Corporate communication in diverse cultural environments;
– Organizational communication in multinational companies;
– Communication between and within subcultures;
– Online subcultural communication;
– Communication across cultures within higher education.
If you think that your work links with any of these areas, please consider submitting an abstract (500-1000 words) by Friday 14 October. The conference sits within the last week of semester one (outside teaching). Click on the following link to access more information about the conference:
