The students were lucky enough to start digging today in both Trench D and E! They were all very excited to get into the dirt and start finding archaeology. Each student were put into a feature and show the best way to remove the spoil and remove the finds. The students really got into the digging and a few finds were being discovered.<\/p>\n
One student in Trench D was very excited to be finding bone in a shallow gully, which runs through the dig.<\/p>\n
The finds team are also up and running with cleaning the archaeological find found on site and making sure they are recorded properly!<\/p>\n
Small amounts of pottery, Flint, bone, teeth and lots of other archaeological finds!<\/p>\n
