The deadline for abstracts to be submitted to the International History of Public Relations Conference 2013 is Monday, December 10. Submit to prhistory@bournemouth.ac.uk. The Call for Papers and Proceedings of previous IHPRCs are on the conference website: http://historyofpr.com.
The conference, organised by the Institute for Media and Communication Research in BU’s Media School, is the international opportunity for academic researchers, historians and interested practitioners to meet, hear papers and discuss this rapidly growing area of research.
The fourth International History of Public Relations Conference is being held at Bournemouth University in England on June 24-25, 2013.
Based in the Corporate & Marketing Communications, Journalism & Communication and Media Production Academic Groups of The Media School, the Institute for Media and Communication Research aims to produce creative and rigorous research into public communication and the public sphere in the UK and internationally. Amongst its active groups are the Centre for Media History and the Public Relations Research Group. The annual International History of Public Relations Conference commenced in July 2010.
The International History of Public Relations will be held from Monday June to Tuesday June 25, 2013 at Bournemouth University in Dorset, England.
