The biography of the late consultancy pioneer Daniel Edelman – Edelman and the Rise of Public Relations (2012) – has been posted as a PDF in the Resources section of the IHPRC website.
Written by Franz Wisner and published by the firm, it tells the story of Dan Edelman, son of immigrants, and the development of his consultancy around the world.

Based in the Corporate & Marketing Communications, Journalism & Communication and Media Production Academic Groups of The Media School, the Institute for Media and Communication Research aims to produce creative and rigorous research into public communication and the public sphere in the UK and internationally. Amongst its active groups are the Centre for Media History and the Public Relations Research Group. The annual International History of Public Relations Conference commenced in July 2010.
