In order to minimise the environmental impact of our conference, we have decided to offer a vegetarian buffet lunch as outlined below.
For our catering we use Chartwells, which is part of the Compass-Group. Their current responsible sourcing policy is available online, but we have been assured that all produce is sourced locally or in accordance with fair-trade standards as appropriate.
Lunch and refreshments will consist of:
Selection of Home Made Sandwiches
(Using a local Family baker based in Wimbourne)
Dorset Blue Vinny Cheese Straws with a Braeburn Apple Chutney
Selection of Crisp Vegetable Crudities with Home Made Dips
Bite Size Home Made Roasted Courgette and Double Gloucester Quiche
(Ingredients include organic milk, organic courgettes, free range Shropshire eggs)
Fresh fruit platter
Selection of Pipers Farmers Crisps
(Regionally sourced crisps)
Tea, Coffee and Orange Juice is all fair-trade.
As a company Chartwells promote one world water bottled mineral water which is used as standard on all conferences and events as this generates investment in African villages through creating funds for fresh water wells in remote villages.
Note: if you have special dietary requirements, please let us know via the registration form.
